DESCRIPTION:Doors Open/Networking 11:00 a.m.\nBuffet Lunch Served 11:15 a.m.\nIntroductions/Announcements 11:40 a.m.\nPresentation 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.\nTopic: Oregon OSHA Update - "State of the State"\nIn what has become an annual event\, Oregon OSHA's Administrator - Renee Stapleton\, gives an update of recent\, current and future regulatory events and happenings in Oregon. For Oregon safety professionals\, it is the "State of the State Safety Programs" address. She will be talking about both federal and state activities as they relate to occupational safety and health.\n\nSpeaker: Renee Stapleton\, Oregon OSHA Administrator\nRenee Stapleton is the Administrator for Oregon OSHA. She has a degree in Fire Service Administration and has worked in the field of safety for more than 20 years prior to joining the state\, and for Oregon OSHA since 2006. During her time with Oregon OSHA\, she was a Safety Compliance Officer\, Safety Enforcement Manager\, Field Consultation Manager\, and Policy Manager.\nRegistration Closes: Friday\, November 6 @ 12:00p.m\nNOTE - PAYPAL NOT NEEDED TO PROCESS PAYMENT! If you do not pre-register and choose to join us day-of\, please bring a copy of your welcome e-mail with the code to waive your fee.\n\nEmeritus Members: If you hold Emeritus status with ASSP (Types of ASSP Memberships | ASSP) you may register as such for additional cost savings on Chapter meetings. \n\nCareer Bridge Members: For those individuals in between or transitioning careers\, you may register as such for additional cost savings on Chapter meetings.\n\nCancellations: Cancellation requests made after the close of registration are not eligible for a refund. If you make a request to cancel your registration before the event date\, your registration credit may be used to attend the membership meeting immediately following the meeting you could not attend\, as long as you reach out and request a credit before the event date. Please contact one of the following chapter officers to notify them of your cancellation and to request a credit for the next meeting: President\, President-Elect\, VP\, Treasurer\, Treasurer-Elect. If you are not able to attend the meeting immediately following the meeting you could not attend\, we are not able to extend your registration credit.
