Supporting the Next Generation of Safety Leaders
The Mentoring Program of the Columbia-Willamette Chapter of ASSP is designed to connect emerging safety professionals with experienced members and industry leaders. This initiative reflects our commitment to advancing the occupational safety and health profession and fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
With over 500 active members, we have thousands of years of experience to share! Here’s what program participants are saying:
- “It’s all been going great! Kyle (deHart) has been incredibly helpful and was a good match.”
- “I ran my presentation by Michelle (Pari), and she gave me great feedback to make sure the content really landed well with the executive team. I got good feedback after the presentation.”
- “I’d been struggling with painting a clear picture of how my job as a research project manager translates to a safety consultant position, and Matt (Harper) was able to help me identify skills that are relevant to talk about.”
- “Absolutely happy with the progress and goals and the wealth of knowledge being shared with me (by Liz Hill)!”
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of expertise to share, this program offers a valuable opportunity to grow, connect, and give back.
