Industrial Hygienist – SAIF
Description: A 2015 Harvard School of Public Health article called industrial hygienists the “guardians of workplace safety.” With their abilities to anticipate, prevent, identify, and mitigate health and safety hazards, SAIF’s certified industrial hygienists live up to that description.
As a certified industrial hygienist, you will be a part of a team that identifies, evaluates, and controls harmful exposures to help policyholders improve the safety, health, and well-being of their employees. Everything we do centers around preventing occupational diseases. You’ll need skills in communication, relationship-building, and mentoring. You’ll also need to be action-oriented, persuasive, adaptable to different situations, focused on customers, and able to manage complexity.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in industrial hygiene consulting. If you’d like to join our team as a workplace safety and health guardian, apply today.

Industrial Hygiene & Health Technician – SAIF
Description: Being a SAIF industrial hygiene and health technician is like being Robin to Batman, or Lieutenant Clark to Captain Lewis. But instead of fighting crime or blazing trails, you help hunt down hazards and analyze and interpret risks that could cause occupational diseases. If the risks are unacceptable, then you think creatively and come up with solutions to prevent those diseases.
Assist our board-certified industrial hygienists and ergonomists with exposure evaluations and risk assessments at various customer locations. You interpret data, apply occupational health standards, and analyze the potential danger of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic stressors. Key to that work is using, maintaining, and calibrating the team’s industrial hygiene and ergonomic equipment.
