Kick Off the New Chapter Year with Food, Networking & Flying Axes!

The ASSP Columbia-Willamette Chapter Membership Committee invites you to our Networking Social—an evening to reconnect, unwind, and celebrate the start of a new chapter year! Whether you’re a longtime member or just getting involved, this is a great chance to meet and connect with fellow safety professionals in a relaxed setting.

📅 Event Details

Date & Time: Thursday, November 20th | 5:00 – 7:30 PM (Arrive 4:45 for Axe Throwing)
Location: Hopworks Urban Brewery – 2944 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR
Parking: Front parking lot and larger parking lot down below (enter on SE 29th Ave)

🍴 What to Expect

• Delicious food (no-host)
• Bar on-site with beverages available for purchase (no-host)
• Free to attend – CWC is hosting Axe Throwing for ASSP members! Guests that’d like to throw axes are $19.99 and can pre-pay when registering.

🪓 Axe Throwing (5:00 – 6:00 PM)

Ready to try something new? Join us for axe throwing, hosted by CWC!

• Open to ASSP members at no cost (guests may pay $19.99 at registration)
• Please arrive at 4:45pm – limited to 20 participants, on a first-come basis
• Includes a safety orientation before throwing begins

🍴Networking Social (6:00 – 7:30PM)

Connect with fellow ASSP members, catch up on the summer and plans for 2026! There will be a networking activity with prizes for ASSP members! Tables available near Axe Throwing to stay nearby the fun even if you don’t want to throw!
