Topic: Getting Back to the Basics / Assessing your Safety & Health Program

Overview: Ashley and Jacquie will be presenting SAIF’s newly developed Basic Safety and Health Assessment Tool for general industry employers. This session will provide an overview of the tool, including the accompanying summary checklist, and demonstrate how it can be used to evaluate key elements of a safety and health program. We will walk through several practical examples and encourage discussion throughout the presentation, allowing participants to ask questions and share feedback on the tool’s application in their workplaces.

Members and Guests

The following important Section meeting changes are taking effect, starting January of 2023 =

• 1) Section meetings will now be 100% in-person to promote greater networking opportunities, achieve more interactive discussions and entice high quality presenters with relevant and interesting topics.

• 2) Santiam Section meetings will now be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and will begin at Noon.

• 3) Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch to the Section meeting.

Thank you for being a member or guest of the Santiam Section of the Columbia-Willamette Chapter. We want to take this opportunity to invite you to our monthly meetings. Guests are always welcome.

We would like to see more people at our meetings and welcome your input.

Executive Committee

The Santiam Sections’ Executive Committee meets on the Monday immediately prior the membership meeting each month. This is usually the second Monday but is sometimes the first or third Monday, based on when the membership meeting occurs. Guests are always welcome.
