Topic: Recognizing and Preventing Burnout 

One day, you may notice that you suddenly don’t feel the same way about work, but in fact, this change may have happened over time.  If you feel unengaged at work, this might be an opportunity to see if you recognize the signs of burnout. In this discussion, we will explore some ways we can prevent burnout and cultivate resilience to improve your health and happiness.

An experienced Total Worker Health® practitioner and consultant, Nichole has expertise in human resources, safety, well-being, organizational development, and communication.  She provides evidence-based education, coaching, and strategic support to organizations across the Pacific Northwest. Nichole has a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University where she focused her studies on Public Health and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

For new ASSP Members that are attending a meeting for the first time, please use the code provided in your welcome email to waive your registration fees for your first meeting when registering online. If you do not pre-register and choose to join us day-of, please bring a copy of your welcome email with the code to waive your fee.

While walk-ins are welcome with an additional fee, we greatly appreciate your registration before the registration close date so that we can provide an accurate food and seating headcount to the venue. Cancellation requests made after the close of registration are not eligible for a refund. If you make a request to cancel your registration before the event date, your registration credit may be used to attend the membership meeting immediately following the meeting you could not attend, as long as you reach out and request a credit before the event date. Please contact one of the following chapter officers to notify them of your cancellation and to request a credit for the next meeting: President, President-Elect, VP, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect. If you are not able to attend the meeting immediately following the meeting you could not attend, we are not able to extend your registration credit.
